What is Stars of Tomorrow?
Stars of Tomorrow, at the Auditorium Theater at 7PM on May
11, recognizes the high school musical in true Tony Award fashion. This
innovative program made its debut to the Greater Rochester area in 1999, with
the main intent of bringing long overdue recognition to the high school musical
and its performing arts students. High
schools in a nine-county area with fall and spring productions are invited to
participate in the program. At the annual Stars of Tomorrow Recognition
Ceremony, participating schools have the opportunity to perform a selection
from their musical on stage at the Auditorium Theatre.
